Question

Cannot log in to Laserfiche Client

asked on June 30, 2015

Hi there,

I am having this error while trying to log in on LF

"The repository cannot be mounted at the current time because it is being mounted or unmounted. Please wait till the current operation completes [9526]"

Has anyone experience this problem and got the solution?

Thanks,

Ketsia

Right, select Network repository.  In the space/field where you see "localhost", type in the IP address of your LF server manually.  Choose the repository name below it like you did earlier.  Then try to login.

On the LF client, click attach.  When the dialog comes up, in the server drop down, use the LF server IP instead of the machinename.  You need to type the IP address in the box manually.  The repository drop down should show the list of available repositories at that point.  Then click on "attach" and try to login and connect.

Does that work?

Glad it works.  That means you have an issue with DNS.  You can leave the LF client attached that way - it will work normally as is but you may want to check with your IT and see what may be going on with the DNS server.

Hi Ketsia,

Have you tried the good old restart of the Laserfiche Server? smileywink

Failing that take a look at the application log on the Laserfiche Server. There might be some clues in there yes

Hi Ketsia,

Hmm ok. Lets go from the top.

  1. Are you experiencing this issue from a workstation?
  2. Are you experiencing this issue from more than one workstation?
  3. Can you log in to Laserfiche from the Laserfiche server itself?
  4. Have you checked that SQL Server is running and you can connect to it etc.?
  5. Has anything changed on the network recently that might explain why this is happening?

If nothing there points you in the right direction it might be worth opening a support case with Laserfiche and they can assist you further.

(Within a support case you can upload logs etc. for review which would be too confidential to post here wink)

Good luck! laugh

Thank you very much and to answer your questions:

1.Experiencing this issue from only one workstation

2. Cannot log in from Laserfiche server

3. SQL is running correctly

4. Recently we added a demo kit and created a new repository I wonder if the issue does not come from there.

I will try to lo a case thanks again smileyyes
