Excel file import hangs

hi - While importing excel files by drag and drop for single or batches, there have been random instances where the import does not complete. It gets as far as "Importing Files (0%)" screen but doesn't ever complete - it seems to be stuck at the extraction of text. Other excel files import fine. Some files are Excel 2010, some 2013. This is happening for multiple users. We are using LF 9.2 Client.

Are you OCRing/Text extracting and/or generating pages with the import? If you refrain from doing those things on import, does the problem file go and import?

We do text extracting by default but not generating pages. We import a high volume of PDF files so we need the text extraction. I did an Excel test without text extracting and it appears to have the same problem. I also saw that although the processing prompt does not indicate that it has completed, that some of the files are in actuality imported - after lengthy period, we tried to cancel the import - everything hung up - so closed. When we went back in, some of the files were in the repository even though we had not seen the progress complete. If the excel files have links within them, could this be the issue?

Please have your VAR open a case with Support and provide him with a sample excel file that we can test with.
