Demo Kit License

Newbie question. My demo kit is giving me an error that 'log in failed because the number of sessions has reached the license limit'. I assume I need to use one of my licence keys to keep on using the demo kit. I have the key, I need to know where to enter it.

Hi Joe,

Please go to the LF server installation folder, run the ActivationTool.exe and enter the Activation Key from there to activate the machine. It will save the license to the desktop by default. After activation, please place the license file to the LF server installation folder and restart the LF server service afterwards.

Have you assigned a named license to your PC?  Have you assigned named license to any of the users?

Your VAR kit license comes with full named licenses but you will need to assign them to either the user or device you are using. Make sure you have assigned the appropriate license by going into the Laserfiche Administration Console, instructions can be found here.

Hi Xiaoxiao,

 

The activaton key was accepted but I'm still getting the same error. Just to give you a better idea of the problem: I'm running the demo kit and when I start one of the modules 'Contract Management' that's when the error comes up. When I try to sign in as one of the users, for example Sam Statesman, it also gives me the same error.
