Question

Missing entries in lookup

asked on June 23, 2015 Show version history

Hello Everyone,

Have a question about lookups - when I do lookup on the table it returns only unique entries, is there a way to show all records even if some of them are the same? I'd like to run lookup on two fields from one table and evaluate them together. If any of that fields has duplicates it would break number of returned results and therefore link between fields.

Thank you

Vladimir

Hi Vladimir,

I need more specific information to answer your question:

Are you referring to Lookup Rules in Laserfiche Forms, or the Query Data tool in Workflow? Duplicate rows can be handled in Forms via SQL Stored Procedures, and in Workflow via the Repeating tools.

When you say "break the number of returned fields," do you want to return only the first duplicate field found?

Also, I would be happy to look over any screenshots of your process.
