Is it possible to import the documents from external hard drive folder to laserfiche repository folder using workflow by setting schedule?
There are no out of the box activities provided with workflow to import documents into the repository, but you can create your own import script or activity that is called/run by workflow.
If you are not wanting to tackle it yourself, you could have someone build it for you. I would suggest Cliff Primmer, a Laserfiche PDP partner. you can see some of the things he has done on his products page.
The other thing that might be worth looking into is the Laserfiche Import Agent. It can be set up to monitor local or network folders and import documents into the repository.
As Bert suggested, Import Agent can monitor (either constantly or setup a schedule) a local or network folder and then move the documents into Laserfiche. Once in Laserfiche, you can then run the necessary workflows on the documents.
