Error: Root element is missing

I've just run Quick Fields on a 100+ page scan. QF identified the different documents within this batch scan, but when I Store, I get many Root element is missing errors and the documents with that associated error will not store.

Any ideas?

No. And what's worse (maybe?) is that it hasn't happened again, so I cannot do anything but hope it's gone forever.
