Question

Workflow Update Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation

asked on June 8, 2015

Hello everyone,

I have just upgrade our workflow version to the new one released (9.2.1.227), and for some reason we started to get errors in our worflows, the common error that it shows up in the log is attached.

But the message is "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation" and

"Method not found: 'Void Laserfiche.Workflow.Activities.FindEntry.AdditionalColumnOptions.set_SummaryValues(System.String)"

Does anyone had the same problem???

Thanks for the help.

Regards

Vitor

This is a known issue and we're working on a fix. If you republish the workflow, the error will go away.

Hi Raymond,

I was going to open up the case when I saw your message, but in the mean time I was republishing all workflows that I have, and the error stop to came up. I will continue to watch and if the same error comes again I will open up a Support Case. But so far the resolution of the problem was to republish the workflows.

Thanks for the help.

Regards,

Vitor

A fix has been released consisting of a whole new installation of Workflow 9.2.1. You can download it from the Support site. The Avante and Rio installations have been updated as well.

Unfortunately, it requires uninstalling the existing version and reinstalling the new one.

If you've already republished the workflows, you don't have to re-publish them again after installing the new version.

The release notes have been updated to reflect this change.
