Is it possible to setup a template where a user selects a value in a drop down, once the item is selected a field will appear below it (this field is based on what the user selected in the list above)? Almost like a dynamic template?

We have this option in LaserFiche Form,

I asked my self the same Question if we can do the same thing in LaserFiche Client

This is not currently possible with the LF client.

As of now, this feature isn’t implemented in the Laserfiche Client. You can accomplish a similar functionality by setting up a Workflow that waits for a field change, and then adds additional fields. However, this requires the user to save their changes and refresh the document for the additional field to appear.

This is possible in Laserfiche Forms. As Armando mentioned above in their screenshot, by going to the “Field Rules” tab, you can configure when you want to show or hide certain fields on your form.
