Is it possible to default Search to be Field search for every user? We do not want the default to be "Basic Search" & "Within Folder" Search parameters. We want it to be Field search with search by template selected.
There is an attribute for the user if you double click or right click their name in the administration console to get to the attributes. Under the attributes setting there is a section that says "View Subset:" Select settings and go to DisplayedSearchCategories. I am still looking into how to get the within folder section to appear though if you have the data as DivTemplate this will display the field section. There is another item called "SearchTemplate" here you can specify the template name.

The data section for DisplayedSearchCategories would be DivFolder,DivTemplate. There are no spaces between the comma. You can import these settings to other users.

Thank you for your help. I set the DisplayedSearchCategories to DivTemplate & Search Template to one I want for the everyone group. I got the Field Search enabled, not template.
What am i doing wrong? I have uploaded a screenshot. I want the Search by template to be checked.
