%(initiator) and username are different (name change)

Hello,

 

We have an employee who was married and changed her last name. I updated her username as well as the [SETTINGS]UserName attribute in Administration Console.

 

Now she can snapshot with the updated username but Workflow %(initiator) token is still using her old name. This is a problem since we use the name to match up documents. What else do I need to change to fix the initiator token? I would like to avoid deleting and recreating the user if possible.

This is a known issue (same issue described in this thread). The names are cached on the Workflow Subscriber. You can restart the Workflow services to clear the cache. A full fix will be available in Workflow 9.2.1 which will be released early next week.

Thanks, I restarted the services on the Workflow server.

Hello,

I`m experiencing the same issue. I would like to know if restarting the Workflow services will affect in any way to the workflows that are running.

Any running workflows will be saved to the database when the service is shut down and resumed when the service restarts.
