Workflow Error Log Viewer - Activity Errors do not correlate with activities

How can I have multiple activity errors from today in the Activity Error log within the Error Log Viewer. However in Workflow Designer I have not a single error in any of the activities run today.

There's not enough information to troubleshoot. For ex, if the error occurred in activities in a Try-Catch, it wouldn't be reported as an error in the instance details.

It seems to be doing that in my environment. For example here is a simple try catch workflow. When it errors it shows as an error in the search. 

Here is the workflow when I open it.
