Laserfiche Version 6.03.0196 Export all documents

asked on May 12, 2015

I have a very old version of Laserfiche running.  I am unable to get funding to upgrade but the old client I am using is becoming a bottleneck.  Is it possible to pull the files out of Laserfiche with their in-Laserfiche filenames and pathways out.  I have 490,000 files to export.

Thank you

I would need a little more information for a complete answer but certainly you can get all of the document information out of SQL including the LF document names and LF paths.  As far as getting access to the tif images that represent the documents they would be available as native tifs inside of your repository folder structure.  (The actual path to the native tif and its hex encoded filename would be available in SQL as well).  You are welcome to email me at cprimmer@qfiche.com and we can have an offline discussion if you like.

Version 6 did not support exporting all contents through the Client, just individual documents. So you're looking at a custom coding solution for that volume of documents.
