Hello, I installed succesfully scanner fi-6230z, everything went well. Now we want to scan without the scanner but appears this screen and we cant do nothing.
How can we setup again universal capture?.
It looks like you saved the scanner selection option. In the LF Client. Go to Tools > Options > Reset > Prompts > Scan mode and select it. Then close then open scanning again and select Universal Capture.
When you open the client and select scanning. You are supposed to get prompted for Basic or standard scanning. Do you get this prompt?
Regardless of what option you select, you are then supposed to get prompted for the Scan Source. At which point, you select Universal Capture or Twain. Do you get that prompt?
If that does not happen, reboot the box and login with a different windows/LF account then try LF scanning again. Does it work with a different windows/LF user?
I did that but i still have the same problem.
Questions:
Once i select "scan mode" do i have to click "reset" or "ok" or both? do i only select "scan mode" and deselect the other options?. Do i have to close just LF client? restart PC?
At this point, go to Tools > Options > hit the Reset button
Logout of the LF client and log back in and select Scanning. You will be prompted at that point if you want to save the selection. Do not save it otherwise you have to reset it again.
I did that, but still have the same problem. Maybe i am skipping something or is not working.
Hello i finally have to go to "reset>general" and restore all.
That was the only way.
I was using admin user.

This is another way we found: clicking "REMOVE" on "ScanEngine". On user attributes at lf admin console.
