Question

Form submissions stuck in an "in progress" state

asked on May 7, 2015 Show version history

8 of the 9 forms do not have a suspended task.  When I retry the 9th form, I receive the error: Laserfiche Forms encountered an internal error. Please try again.

Currently running: Laserfiche Forms Version 9.2.1.1069

After inspecting the logs, how can I fix this "Resume ID" issue?

Hi there,

What service task it is? Is it an email or Workflow service task?

Actually, after taking a closer look, 8 of the 9 are 'Save to Repository' and 1 is 'Laserfiche Workflow'

If the instance is terminated, you cannot retry it.

If the instance is suspended, you can retry it. Please check the setting of your save to repository service task, and see the detail error message associate with it. Please check whether Laserfiche Forms Routing service is up and running.

That't the strange part... They are neither Terminated or completed.  They're showing up as 'In Progress' without any suspended tasks.

And now newer submissions are being stuck with Suspended tasks.  I went ahead and retried them.  The newer submissions completed without incident.

Oh, and the Forms Routing service is running.

We just restarted the server and the issue is still present.
