Quick Fields Question/Feature Request

asked on May 5, 2015

I am using Quick Fields to process invoices from various vendors. I have over 300 classifications. Here is what I would like to see if it isn't already possible. I have a few vendors that are commonly used and so these vendors are towards the top of the processing order. For these vendors there are sometimes more than one page. At the top of the page it will say something like page 1 of 3 or however many pages there is. With current settings I have it set to where it says if page 1 of 3 is read, don't classify this and then it has to go through all the other classifications before it includes the second page with the first. Is there a way to program if it sees that Page 1 of 3 that the next page will attach rather than having to go through all of the other classifications? If not this would be a good add to the program to speed up processing.

You could use the Last Page Identification section and add a Zone OCR process that reads the page numbers. Then break out the current page and the total out with Pattern Matching. Then add an identification condition to Pattern Matching that checks if the 2 values are equal. So the document is complete when QF finds the page that says "Page 3 of 3". That will work for any number of pages.
