Converting blank files to folders

Greetings, I'm using LF 9.2. We have some blank tiff files that need to be converted to folders without losing the metadata associated with them. I would really like to avoid having to manually create the new folders and re-enter all the metadata. Is there a workflow, process, or shortcut I can use to do this?

Hello Tonya,

You can definitely use workflow for this process. If all you wish to do is copy metadata from the tiff entry to a folder, then you can use the "Copy Metadata" within the Workflow application. You would have the "Copy Metadata From" get the metadata from the Tiff entry, and then "Copy Metadata to" the folder of your desire.
