No, Quick Fields can't currently generate barcodes, it just reads the existing ones.
could I use a stamp? is there any product within the LF packages that can put a bar code on a image based on two template fields?
Oh, i didn't think about that, but it would work. Quick Fields has a permanent stamp process that could do it. Though I'm not seeing it in your list of add-ons for any of your Quick Fields instances.
You would have to find and install a barcode font (Google search found this free one: http://www.barcodesinc.com/free-barcode-font/ which seems to work pretty well). You'd have to be careful to enclose the data in "*" so the font knows where the barcode should start and end (or it will get confused by spaces). And you'd probably have to experiment a bit with the size to figure out what will work to produce a readable barcode and at the same time not cause the data to wrap on larger values (because that wouldn't be a valid barcode).
thank you.
