Using SQL Express on a server that is already running SQL

Is it possible to install Laserfiche with SQL Express on a server that is already running SQL?

Yes. You can install multiple SQL Express instances on a server (using different named instances) and even have SQL Express run on a server that also has full MSSQL. Note that when you install the optional SQL Express instance that ships with Laserfiche, it uses the instance name, "Laserfiche."

You may want to take into consideration the impact of resource usage when doing this though.
