Question

cdata connector for Quickbooks

asked on April 29, 2015

Has anyone worked with the cdata connector for Quickbooks for importing information from Laserfiche to Quickbooks?  I was curious if there was any information on how best to configure this.

Cdata tells me they do already have at least one customer using their product to integrate Laserfiche with QuickBooks.

Affinity tells me that their integration works much like Laserfiche connector rather than a database connection.

Hey there,

Looks like this question fell through the cracks!

Since QuickBooks has a SQL back-end there should not be a problem with pulling information from QuickBooks into Laserfiche.  Out of the box Workflow and Forms can work with information from ODBC compliant systems.

I am not too familiar with the cdata driver; however, after taking a closer look, the driver is ODBC compliant and programs that are ODBC compliant should be able to connect with Laserfiche. Alternatively, you might want to look into the affinity integration since they have an integration specifically for QuickBooks and Laserfiche.
