I am currently working with a customer that is having issues publishing a Workflow. It speeds up to about 45% and then publishes incredibly slow and taking almost up to 15 minutes to publish. The Laserfiche server is rebooted every week though the Workflow server is not. The activities rely heavily on AD for checking. The specific workflow used to publish quickly with no problems. I have suggested to reboot the Workflow server though I was wondering if there were any other suggestions that could possibly speed up the process. The publishing of this specific workflow used to take a few minutes at most before.

Where there any changes made to the workflow since it worked?
What version of Workflow is it?
If you turn off validation on publishing (in the WF Designer, Tools\Options\Publishing\validate metadata and external objects before publishing), does it publish any faster?
Could you post a screenshot of the Statistics tab in the workflow definition's properties?

Sorry Miruna I should have been more specific the publishing part goes smoothly it is the validation. I did skip the validation and the workflow published just fine. The main issue is the validation process. That shoots up to about 45% and then has a heavy delay checking each activity in the workflow.
