Every now and then we need to take down the Laserfiche server or the Forms server and it would be nice if we had a way to notify all Laserfiche accounts that have an email address associated with them through the Laserfiche interface. I know there use to be a feature to do this in the admin console per user, but I was thinking since we are already setting up an SMTP server for Forms and Workflow, couldn't we just use that connection to do it?
