Question

Get saved search failed

asked on April 22, 2015 Show version history

I have a customer that is receiving an error when opening a link that opens in Web Access. The alert window that comes up is Get saved search failed. The image does not load though if you refresh the page the image and the metadata loads correctly. I was looking through the support site and couldn't find anything on the topic. I did check the event viewer on the server side and there were no errors recorded. Does this deal with the users attributes or is it an issue with the Full text search service. I was wondering if anyone ran into this issue.

edit:

The users receive this link through e-mail that is generated by workflow. They did not have any issues until recently. The current version is 9.1.1 for Web Access.

Can you post an example URL?

Is this happening for all users?

Since they didn't have any issues until recently, what might have changed in Workflow, Web Access, or your repository setup?

http://localhost/laserfiche/index.aspx?db=TestRepo#id=902110;view=pages

I changed the server name and the repository name for security purposes though that is an example of what the link looks like. This was happening to a few users and then more users began receiving this error. I went ahead and installed service pack 2 for server, web access, etc. Since then I have not heard any complaints about the issue. If it does happen again I will open a support case and update the solution to the thread.

I am having this issue on a Windows 2012 install. New deployment. I did not see any service packs for 2012. What exactly did you do to fix this?

In Mark's case, it was resolved by updating windows with the current windows updates, turning UAC off then uninstalling and reinstalling.
