Insufficient memory error 6000 when copying through two windows to a different location

asked on April 22, 2015

I currently have a customer that is having issues when copying and pasting a document that is fairly large from one location to the next. They are doing this by opening two Laserfiche client browser windows. They are using a citrix environment. The steps the customer is taking is they have one browser window opened where the file is located and they are copying and pasting the document to the new location that is opened in the second browser window. I attempted to recreate the issue on the server and and a few other machines though I could not reproduce the result. The customer is on client version 9.1.1.548. Any suggestions as to why this is happening would be helpful. Thanks!

Why do they have to open two different LF clients to accomplish this? Do you get the same behavior if copying between folders within the LF client instead of using two different LF clients?

If the issue does not occur at the server (without Citrix involvement), have you checked the resource allocation for the Citrix desktop?  See how much is allocated and increase it for heavy users.

The work around for the user was to have them do this within the same client window. The customer will have an increase in memory for the citrix environment. Thanks!
