Hello,

just a little question. Is it possible to install LF Forms on a tablet and LF Server on a separate computer ?

The goal is to use LF Forms on several tablets to submit forms on one server. Additionally, these forms should be submitted to the server in an asynchronious way, because tablets won't have access to the internet everytime.

Forms is a web product, therefore it does not get installed on the client machines. You install it on your IIS server and then use a browser to access and submit the forms.

If you need offline functionality, I have found the best workaround to be fillable PDFs. The way I have seen this work is you have a form with a section to submit PDF and another section to complete online. If they choose to submit on line, you do not show the PDF submission section and vise versa. You then push the data to Laserfiche and use workflow to process and/or route it.
