Question

How to specify group that will perform user task? (Refer to this feature is available in Webhelp)

asked on April 16, 2015 Show version history

I found message on helpweb that when I type in " assign to" field ,a drop-down list will appear with the names of suggested users and groups,I couldn't find one.

Here are my named users with some groups, there are a LF group (AdminsGroup) and a AD group (Laserfiche admins) and they are all full licenses.Besides this ,I can create user participants.(I have 30 participant licenses) but I don't know how to create group participants.

Did I miss something?

I apologize for the mistake in the documentation -- it has been corrected. You need to specify users individually in the "Assign to" field. Also, Blake is correct that a feature is being added in Forms 10 that will allow you to create teams of users in Forms.

Not sure why it's in the help documentation, but you cannot currently assign a user task to a group. You can however add more than one person when you assign the task. There is a team feature coming in Forms 10 that will allow the "Group" ability.
