When Attempting to Install SocialBPM Preview I get SQL Error

Please review the Laserfiche Social BPM 9.2 Preview Install Guide. On page 6, at the bottom, it talks about enabling FILESTREAM for Transact-SQL access.

Note that you then may need to specify a new database or just delete the originally created database and then create a new one through the configuration page.

This was my issue. It took me a bit to find the SQL Server Manager tool though. It wasn't showing in my Apps list (Win 2012) and had to find it in the C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ folder.

Glad you were able to get it resolved. We also have KB 1013637 for this as well.

The instructions on that KB article and the online documentation didn't work for us. We had to go into SQL Configuration Manager and enable FILESTREAM support from there. Here's a screenshot:

I'm confused...that's exactly what the KB says to do:

Can you specify what you had to do differently than the listed steps so we can update the KB?

Ah, you're right. I was referencing multiple sources, including that KB, and one of them said do it from SQL Management Studio (right click > Properties > Advanced on the server node) and that's the one that didn't work. False alarm.
