Unable to drag and drop from client

We're presently working with Laserfiche Client v9.2.1.562. With both this and the previous version, we've had computers stop allowing the drag and drop function, even to desktop. it seems to most commonly occur with desktops that are usually left on, or allowed to enter sleep mode. There is a brief window showing progress, but it closes before any can be made. Repairing the installation corrects the matter, if temporarily.

Has anyone else come across this problem? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi Jakob - yes; same version and same for me. Seems to be intermittent as you say. I can't seem to see any hotfix or update for it.

 

I should also say - that I can't drag and drop into or from Laserfiche client folders.

 

Can someone from Laserfiche please have a look into this?

Possible solution: after mucking around with this, I realized I had recently added a shortcut script to enable auto login (-W -L"Demo-LF9") and to get that working had ticked 'Run as Administrator' - which meant that every time I ran Laserfiche it was 'as a Windows administrator'.

 

As soon as I 'undo' that - the drag and drop function works.

 

So perhaps try checking whether your LF client is being run as a Windows administrator, and if it is - try running as a standard user. Sounds weird but worked for me!
