default scan settings

In the scan window, we have a user that has selected "Default" for the volume in the settings tab for Standard Scanning.  When they close the scan window and reopen it, the selection is not saved.  In looking at the scan attributes, I set the default volume, but when the user opened the scan window that also changed back to a different setting.

Where is this setting stored, and how do I remove that setting so it will save the new one that has been set or at least, where can we manually set this.

In Laserfiche Scanning, go to File > Options > Scanned Document and you can modify the default settings such as the volume. See below:

I have a customer that created a new volume and would like to point 40 users to it, including scanning users.  Can this be done at the server level or does it need to be done on each individual client?

Hi Andy,

You can set a default volume for users by assigning attributes in the Administration Console. This would have to be done for each individual user. There is a guide to working with attributes with some of the most common items available on the support site. The best way to confirm an attribute name is to have a test user with cleared out attributes, set this setting as that user, close the client, and see what changed
