I ran the volume consistency tool on one of my volumes and it came back and said that I had "Extra Electronic Documents" and "Extra Non Laserfiche Documents" in the volume. What does that mean and what are the next steps I should be taking?
Question
Question
Answer
Extra Non Laserfiche Documents are thumbnails (*.lft) which technically isn't classified properly. However, you can just ignore that category as the thumbnails are valid.
Extra images, text, and electronic documents means that there are files present in the volume that don't have corresponding entries in the database. Missing images, text, and electronic documents means that there are entries in the database which don't have corresponding volume files.

Did you ever get an answer to this question? We also have a client running this tool and we are unsure of what the "extra non Laserfiche documents" are. Our client has a couple thousand of them.
I assume that the "extra electronic documents" are electronic docs that are in your volume strucutre but do not have a corresponding pointer in SQL
