Client 9.1 - User getting Pop-up message when Redacting text

asked on April 8, 2015

I have a user that is getting the following Pop-up message when Redacting text.  What does this mean?  You can click OK and still redact, but it doesn't redact it within the OCR'd text only on the Image. This user has full access rights to these images.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks! Robin

Annotations are linked by default, meaning that if you annotate the image, it will try and create the same annotation on the generated text. This is typically for highlights, redactions, etc.

In order for this to work though, the generated text needs to have come from OCRing the image page so that the there are valid image locations that can map where on the image the annotation is being made to the correct text.

You can try re-OCRing the document and then see if annotations can now be linked.

Alexander, Thank you! When we re-OCR'd the image we did not get this message.  It is only happening to a few, so this is not a problem to re-do the OCR.

That helped! Thanks again!
