Hi all, we use:

- Laserfiche Capture Engine

- tiff image in black and white

- LF 8.3 and QF 8.3

We have a scanned page with black text on a grey background. It kind of looks like the following:

The issue is that Quick Fields is trying to OCR all black dots, thinking it is text, in fact it is background grey. The process of OCR will lead to a Quick Fields full stop.

Despeckle is not the answer, the background might be a large area.

Colour drop out is not the answer, it is not a colour page.

Any suggestions we can look at?
