LF AuditDBService.exe CPU usage behavior normal?

asked on April 7, 2015

Just wondering if it's normal for the AuditDBService.exe to be using about 25% of the CPU on the Laserfiche server at all times (even at night when no one is using the system)?  I'm using the 'suggested defaults' for my items to audit.  It's on a VM with 4 CPU cores assigned, and it seems to be spread among them.

I'm not sure what it's doing, but even after rebooting it is always the same.

I'm running LF server 9.2.1.

It sounds like there could be a problem with one of the log files that it's trying to import, and when it fails it simply tries again.  There may be more information in the event viewer on the Audit Trail machine.  Also, the Import page of the Audit Trail Configuration app might indicate which log file isn't imported - that would probably be the problematic one.  If you open a support case with your reseller, our support staff will probably want a copy of that file.
