When searches are saved by users utilizing a repository published via Laserfiche Plus 8.1 where is the search saved? And is it possible to transfer that saved search criteria?

Data has been published to an external drive and now needs to be updated. However, the user has several saved searches and does not want to have to recreate these searches. Since there are no attributes, I am not sure if it is possible to transfer these saved searches to the newly published repository.

Any ideas?

Hi Cindy,

When viewing a Laserfiche Plus published repository, the saved searches are saved in the registry under

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Laserfiche\Plus\8.0\Profile\SavedSearches_[RepositoryName]\[SavedSearchName]

We have been unable to make much progress in locating the location of the saved searches. We did learn that they should be in the LFPlus database file. However, when we try to open this database it asks for a password.

Further assistance would be appreciated.
