While I haven't tested Laserfiche Connector with PowerFAIDS, I've worked with Connector quite a bit and found that it's very reliable pulling information from most websites.  Luckily, we have the Connector Test Utility (available on the Support Site) that allows you to test whether we can pull information from various sources.  Check it out and let us know how it works!

I'm not sure what you're asking in the Snapshot question.  Are you asking whether Snapshot is able to capture content that is on the same website but off screen (meaning that you would need to scroll down on the webpage to find the content)?  If this is what you're asking, then yes, Snapshot does capture that content.  Imagine Snapshot working exactly like a printer.  If you have a multipage word document that's sent to the printer, the entire thing will be printed, not just the area of the page that you're currently viewing.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hey Barry,

After a brief search, I wasn't able to find any evidence that this integration has been attempted before.  Do you have any questions that you'd like some help with?  Are you getting stuck at a certain point when trying to set up the integration?

If you have any more information to share about your current situation and how you'd like the integration to work, please let us know and we'll see what we can do to help!

Good luck!

Thanks Rob, it was a general question around Financial Services to see how other colleges are using Laserfiche in the financial aid arena. At the time I didn't realize that PowerFAIDS (and it's companion iDocs) are online services offered through the College Board, so I doubt now that 'integration' is a good way to describe what might be done. FOr example, one question that came up was if Snapshot could capture PowerFAIDS reports that scroll offscreen instead of printing. Also whether Connector would be a fit.

Thanks, good tip, I didn't know about the test utility. You got it right about Snapshot.
