Opening file on LF error message

Please see below prompt that I get when opening a file on LF. Note that this is a file on which I regularly work on

ERROR DETAILS

 

The document is already checked out.

Is the document checked out? Are you trying to open a document that is checked out? If so, do you get the same behavior if you check it back in?
