Feature request - additional version options

One of our clients has requested versioning options that are not confined to numbers.  Many of their files are numeric in nature, so to distinguish the versions from the names, they'd like to see versions that alphabetic (or alphanumeric).

Hello Ian,

 

You can use version comments to track alphanumeric data assigned to versions!  The version numbers are created automatically by Laserfiche, but you can store the alphanumeric content in the comments field and even sort by the comments to reorganize the versions in whatever order you like!
