Quickfields Limit Documents to # Pages

asked on March 30, 2015

In Quickfields we want to limit the documents to 40 pages maximum. If they are over 40 pages the rest should go into unidentified until we discover another document. We checked the option under Last Page Identification to limit the document to 40 pages but now it pulls exactly 40 pages for each document and ignores document classification until it reaches 40 pages. What are we doing wrong?

The maximum number of pages overrides the identification conditions. This is by design as a performance feature: if you specify that the document will have 40 pages, Quick Fields will not run the identification processes on the 39 pages following the first page.

There is currently no way to specify a document ends when a new page is identified or at 40 pages, whichever comes first.

Ok, thank you. Looks like workflow is the only way then, or just leaving the extra pages on the document.
