Recently purchased the Fujitsu fi-7160 to replace a Kodak 2600. But have been unable to get Laserfiche 9.0.1.610 to recognize the Fujitsu scanner.
Has anyone had any luck in having Laserfiche recognize the Fujitsu fi-7160 scanner?
thx sd

I have seen with other Fujitsu scanners, that I would have to first uninstall the old scanner application, driver, LF client, then install the new Fujitsu driver and software and re-install the LF client. I have just gotten into the habit of doing this because even if the new scanner was seen by the client or Quick Fields, I could expect strange behavior from the scanner.
Hi Steven,
The fi-7160 is shown as a supported scanner by Laserfiche -
http://www.laserfiche.com/scanner-reviews/
So it should work.
Can you scan into another application without any issues? Does it appear in device manager?
When you look for the scanner in the list of scanner drivers, it will not be listed as a Fujitsu, but rather keep scrolling down and it will be listed as a PaperStreamIP.
What Scan engine are you using?
If you test the scanner outside of LF using Twain, does it work?
Ive only ever gotten it to work with scanconnect and its a huge hastle
