Forms - Task participants email address?

Where is the email address obtained from for task participants in a Forms business process?

The forms portal we are using is public and outside our firewall so it is only able to see Laserfiche users and not LDAP users. I have a process configured to notify a task participant when a form is submitted but no emails are being sent and I can't figure out how Laserfiche would know the address associated for a particular LF user.

Here is the notification option I an referring to:

Named users can specify an email in their account settings by clicking Account in the upper right hand side of forms. This information is stored in Laserfiche Forms, not the repository.

Thanks Carl.

However, every time I try to enter an email address in that field, I get a Forms error message:

Even though it kicks an error... it does appear that the email address was still saved.

I will try a process and see if I get an email this time.

When you receive the error message, check your Forms server application log and see what it says. You should not be getting an error.
