Laserfiche WebLink 9 Released

posted on March 23, 2015

Laserfiche is pleased to announce the release of Laserfiche WebLink 9 in English, Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), French, Italian, Portuguese (Brazilian) and Spanish.

Enhancements include:

  • An updated look and feel: Aesthetic enhancements, such new icon designs, colors, contrasts and themes, offer an improved viewing experience for users.
  • WCAG compliance: All Laserfiche WebLink 9 components fully support Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 AA standards, which is designed to make content accessible to people with disabilities.
  • Streaming media: Users can directly stream audio and video files from Laserfiche WebLink 9 without downloading them.
  • Improved bot detection: Laserfiche WebLink 9 detects bot sessions accessing the user’s repository and ensures their connections do not persist.
  • Intuitive search: The text search improvements previously introduced in Laserfiche Client and Web Access 9.1 are now also supported in Laserfiche WebLink 9. These improvements offer user friendly search results similar to those found in web browsers and searches in Windows.
  • New license activation: Product licenses for all Laserfiche WebLink editions are now administered through activation keys. When upgrading and installing, it will no longer be necessary to download a .lic file.

Laserfiche has released a new factsheet for Laserfiche WebLink 9, which includes an updated format that allows readers to easily identify key features and information.

Many thanks for pointing us in the right direction!  For the sake of modularity, we went with a redirect to a separate page (CookieCheck.aspx) instead of doing all the work in Login.aspx, but your suggestion helped with our implementation.
