We are accessing client Laserfiche 8.3.0 and would like to drag and drop files from desktop to LF but only get the "no" icon. This is not a permissions issue as we are able to import single files but want to upload batches of files.

Are you dragging and dropping the files into the same location and volume? Open a folder that you know you have full rights to and repeat the process. Alternatively, check your file > import settings when you do the files individually then use that location and volume when you drag and drop.
Sometimes this behavior comes up if valid defaults aren't present in new document/import settings. Take a look at Tools\Options\New Documents, see if they are valid, be sure to hit ok to exit to save them. If you use file\import it will ensure that valid settings are there, but they need to be in place already for drag/drop.
We are using Laserfiche Client 8.3 in Citrix environment. I am able to import files without issue but am not able to drag and drop. Definitely have full rights to the target location. Valid defaults appear to be present in the new document/import settings. I've attached import settings. I'm assured that LC 8.3 supports drag and drop but so far no success.
Drag and drop should work. If you drag and drop files individually, does it work or does it fail as well?
I am not able to drag and drop individual files nor batches within the Citrix environment. I just tested and I am able to use drag and drop if I connect using VPN.
You are dragging from your personal desktop and dropping into a LF client run on Citrix (i.e. the LF client is a citrix shared application running on your machine)?
If you install the LF client locally and drag and drop to that, does that work?
Yes I am dragging from personal desktop and dropping into LF Client run on Citrix. I also have LF Client 8.2 installed locally. Thanks.
The issue actually is not with LF but with Citrix. Citrix does not support drag and drop between the local workstation and Citrix sessions. It is a Citrix limitation not a LF one. http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX086028.
As an alternative, you can use LF Import Agent to do mass file imports. This can be set to import automatically. All you have to do is place the files in a specific folder monitored by Import Agent and basically forget about it.
