Question

Does LF Connector work with Munis?

asked on March 18, 2015

I was wondering if Munis 10.5 is compatible with LF connector. I tried to use the LF Connector test utility though instead of pinpointing a specific cell or location it grabbed the entire area. I did try it with and without the JavaScript box checked. I was wondering if anyone has been able to to integrate using the LF Connector.

We have received reports that Munis is not currently compatible with LF Connector but that the upcoming Munis version 11.1 might be. The list of compatible applications at http://www.laserfiche.com/support/webhelp/laserficheconnector/9.0/en-us/userguide/#ConfirmedApplications.htm%3FTocPath%3D_____7 will be updated when Munis compatibility can be confirmed.

Can this be confirmed?

Yes, it's confirmed. The internal technology of Munis changed for v11 to be more accessibility friendly, which also allowed Laserfiche Connector to work with it. Keep in mind that Laserfiche Connector 9.1 and later also allows using OCR to grab screen data so you can always fallback on that.

Hi Justin,

I tested Connector this week with Munis 11.2 and I was only able to get the OCR function of Connector to retrieve values.  If I used JavaScript or UI I was only able to see the control, but not the data within.  Is this the same behavior seen in the past?  Is there something I need to check within the configuration to use JavaScript specifically?
