While a user is trying to review a link document, he is getting this error below:
Note that the user has full rights on the folder.
Currently we are on VDI and LF version 9.2.0 SP 1

Not the folder where the source document is, the folder where the linked document is. Can they manually browse and open the linked document?

Not sure then in that case. If they re-create the link are they then able to open the document?
The error description indicates that the target document might be checked out or locked by someone else. It looks like the target document is an electronic document, and if that's already locked or checked out, that prevents people from opening it except in a read-only manner. Can you check if that's the case?
