SQL Store Procedures don't execute after Forms upgrade from 9.2.0.908 to 9.2.1

asked on March 16, 2015 Show version history

We upgraded to Forms 9.2.1 from 9.2.0.908 and now any of our forms that use SQL stored procedures don't execute. Normally these forms populate a hidden field on them and now they just remain blank.

Any input and/or direction will be greatly appreciated.

Things I've already tried:

  1. Refreshed the Data Sources from the Admin page
  2. Confirmed Forms account can EXECUTE stored procedure from SQL Mgmt Studio
  3. No longer hiding the field that is populated after running the SQL SP confirms it's not being populated after clicking 'Auto fill' button
  4. Removed Lookup Rule, Saved, & Re-added
  5. Interrogated System & Application Event Logs

Hi Eddie,

I tested upgrade from 9.2.0.908 to 9.2.1, and the lookup rule that uses stored procedure still works as expected. The rule I used reads two fields and fills two fields.

Can you share with us your lookup rule and data source details? Maybe there is something special in your configuration.

Besides, have you tried adding a new data source and a new process to see if stored procedure can execute?

Thanks for responding Rui...  Laserfiche Support has been able to replicate my issue within their test environment and have escalated to the Forms development team.  It appears the issue is isolated to fields within tables.

Hi there,

Please confirm your use case. It may due to the misuse of Table.
