It's on. I tried to do what you told me to take it off and turn it on and close and reopen the session. It does not work. Please help... Thanks!
Please make sure your options are configured like below
Make sure that Laserfiche metadata is updated when a session is opened and that it is not set to run only once a day per session. Once those options are saved, then when you close your Quick Fields session and reopen it, it should update the metadata and the list field that your Quick Fields session is using should include the new values that you've added from the Laserfiche Administration Console.
If that's still not happening, then you may want to contact your Laserfiche reseller to open a support case so the matter can be looked into.
I know this is an old post. I deselected that checkbox but the metadata did not update until after the machine rebooted. Is there another more global setting that can be override the 'Run only once a day' checkbox?
I wonder if this could be that the user having the problem does not have rights to save changes to the file where the options save to?? Thanks!
Check the metadata updater settings under Tools\Options\Metadata Updater. If it's off, or only set to once a day, turn it on and close and reopen the session. (You can set it back to once a day afterwards)
