laserfiche causing PC to crash

We have a client who has been experiencing slowness and LF crashing. Occasionaly it will shut down her pc as well. She is the only person experiencing this so I suspect a virus or possibly her windows user account. 

Any ideas?

Hi Ben,

 

I would be more tempted to think it's something very wrong with her PC!

 

Try logging in as a different windows user and see if you experience the same issue.

Sounds like a PC issue to me as well. Follow Chris's suggestion, if you still experience the same issue then it is the PC. I have seen in rare occasions where the user's Windows profile causes the issue. Also try having that user log into Windows on a different PC. that will tell you if it is PC or profile issue.

In addition to other suggestions, keep in mind the possibility of hardware failures as well - depending on what is meant by "it will shut down the PC". If it is an unexpected power off (without a blue screen), it could be a power supply issue.
