Documentation for RepositoryAccess for creating scripts in Workflow

asked on March 11, 2015

Seems the documentation for RepositoryAccess class is only available as part of the Laserfiche SDK.  How can you get it for use within the Workflow scripting features?

We do not own the full Laserfiche SDK because we have not yet needed it (not quite sure why it costs extra, but that isn't really the issue at the moment).

Hi David,

As part of the workflow install there is a check box to include Workflow SDK.

Enabling this seems to give me the following files in start menu

Do any of these files contain what you're looking for? Failing that I think you will have to purchase the full SDK.

Hope this helps! yes

Chris - I believe David is looking for the documentation that installs with the Laserfiche SDK not the Workflow SDK documentation.  Laserfiche SDK and Workflow SDK are two different products.

David - The Laserfiche SDK (and documentation) should be available to you as part of the VAR kit.  Is that not the case?

Hi Cliff,

Yes the workflow SDK and the Laserfiche SDK are 2 different products, however one is free and one isn't. wink

FYI - You do not get the Laserfiche SDK as part of the VAR kit.

Ah, as a PDP I received the SDK as part of that relationship so I assumed that it was the same for the VAR's.

David - In light of that is there anything I can specifically help with in coding using RA in Workflow scripting?
