Feature Request: Have Website Check if Mobile App is Installed

asked on March 10, 2015

We have recently rolled out LF Mobile for use with Forms to all of our Participant users. Our users are currently finding the system a little confusing though because of the following reason. When a User Task is assigned to a user and sends an email out with a link for them to complete the assigned task, it takes them to the Forms website to login. This confuses them because we have trained them on the mobile app, but they are seeing something else.

I have noticed that with mobile devices if you click on a link to an app that takes you to an app store, I usually hit the app store, but am then redirected to the app store on my device. It would be nice if the links in a task email did the same thing so that users could use just the mobile app.

Miruna, do you know if this will be available in Forms 10? It is causing a lot of problems for our users that use a computer and mobile devices.

Likewise, we have a client with a process that's firing emails with .lfe attachments and url link loaded with variables for prepopulating forms assigned to them. Launching the website is causing confusion. Is there an estimated timeline for this?

Thanks
