Question

Laserfiche Forms Routing Service keeps breaking

asked on March 10, 2015

We use a Gmail account for our Forms direct approvals.

Every few days the Forms Routing Service breaks and prevents the direct approval emails form updating the Laserfiche Forms status and advancing the Business Process Modeler to the next approval step.

What causes the Routing service to break and how can we fix it without having to restart it manually?

Thank you for your help

The message

A transport-level error has occurred when receiving results from the server. (provider: Session Provider, error: 19 - Physical connection is not usable)

may indicate an SQL connection leak. We'll look into this on our end, but if further investigation is needed then you may need to open a support case through your reseller.

A few recommendations for now though would be to make sure that .NET Framework 4 is fully patched and also check if memory resource usage is a factor, i.e. when this issue occurs, what's the memory use by Forms and SQL like? Perhaps it's running out of resources. If these recommendations don't help with the situation, then please proceed with opening a support case through your reseller.
