Question

Any Systems Analyst / Laserfiche Admins out there?

asked on March 9, 2015

I am try to gather information about the role of the Laserfiche Administrator position being a component of a System Analyst position. Is anyone out there actually both? I have seen the Laserfiche Administrator position being rolled into a Business Analyst position before, but am curious how it works when it is a bit more upper level as a Systems Analyst.

If so, can you tell me (briefly or in mid depth) about the rest of what you do? What unique rolls do you play, etc? Do you find yourself putting on the 'hat' of any other jobs? Do you have any tips that you learned the hard way?

Thank you in advance! I know it may be some time (if ever) that this post is replied to, but I like to use the Answers site as my first resource.

Cheers :)

I do both, but not Officially.  I was brought in and was the first to learn the new system, create the folder structure for the new repository, train the staff and help them get their documents into Laserfiche, troubleshoot, design new business processes, make the best use of all the Laserfiche tools, including using Audit Trail to look for patterns in order to improve things wherever/however I can find ways to do so.  Systems Analyst is not part of my job description, but... that would be me where Laserfiche is concerned.
